Bike Trip 2026/07/18
I went biking with my friend Elliot at Sheyenne national grasslands, but this time we went to the West entrance.
There were a lot more gates and cows on this side of the park. These cows were a little close to the gate and Elliot was more cautious about it than I was. My grandparents had some cows, and they always tended to run away and that's exactly what these ones did.
There was a small patch of forest here. It reminds me a bit of Itasca park in Minnesota.
A lot more cows this time. The gate was near their water which is why so many of them congregated here. I was bold again and tried to shoo them away until one gave an angrier moo and we bolted back to the gate. It cut our trip a little short.
Some cows blocked our path on the way back out as well. Luckily their water source was farther away from the path, so we waited while they mooed at each other and trampled over to the pond.
